Develops domain specific strategies, blueprints, and roadmaps based on the business goals and objectives. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: • Recommends new technologies for domains based upon business value drivers and return on investment; drives new technologies towards implementation and exploitation. • Establishes overall systems architecture vision and ensures specific components are appropriately designed and leveraged; contributes to the holistic vision of Enterprise Architecture. • Maintains components of architecture strategy and vision. • Maintains domain-level blueprints and ensures blueprints are refreshed as needs emerge or in accordance to POR changes. • Directs the construction of architecture components (e.g., data architecture, application architecture, technical architecture). • Supports and champions efforts with cross-functional knowledge (e.g., strategy, change management, business process management). • Assists in the definition of business and IT recovery operating environment. • Uses results from feasibility studies to assess an application's conformance to the current and target architecture blueprints. • Defines systems, technical and application architectures for new strategic initiatives; develops and maintains an architectural blueprint and evolutionary roadmap that defines and communicates the strategic direction for these architectures in support of business and technical strategies; able to explain how the roadmap maintains and delivers cost effectiveness, business value, and competitiveness. Requirements: • BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 8 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. • 10-15 yr of enterprise and/or solution architecture experience covering a variety of business and technical solutions • PBM and/or Pharmacy domain expertise - min 2 years as an architect or analyst • Healthcare experience preferred. • Proven experience handling multiple stakeholders from business and IT to deliver solutions that are acceptable to all Job Type: Possible Temp To Hire Additional Details: • Must reside 50 miles or 1 hour commute from a Pulse Point location. • 9 am- 5 pm CST or EST zones. (No weekends or on-call work & no OT) Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, contractors are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week.
