Our client is seeking a Mandarin-Speaking Fintech Product Manager to build a next generation digital wallet from the ground up. This 0-1 role owns the end-to-end product lifecycle and requires deep payments expertise, strong cross-functional execution, and the ability to translate complex financial and regulatory requirements into intuitive, scalable experiences. This position will partner closely with engineering, compliance/legal, risk, and external banking/payment providers to design end-to-end wallet flows, stand up money movement rails, and ensure the product meets stringent operational, security, and regulatory standards. What our client has to offer: • Competitive base salary • Bonus and stock options based on performance and experience • Location: San Jose, U.S. (remote) or Toronto, Canada (onsite), hours 10AM – 6 PM EST • High-growth fintech environment with significant product ownership Responsibilities: • Own the full lifecycle of a new digital wallet and design end-to-end wallet flows (funding, balances, holds/freezes, spend, transfers, withdrawals, refunds), • Oversee settlement and reconciliation across U.S./Canadian rails; define resilient operational playbooks. • Embed compliance by design in partnership with compliance/legal/risk and collaborate with engineering to translate detailed financial/regulatory needs into user-friendly product experiences. • Launch and optimize U.S./CA payment rails (ACH, wire, RTP, push-to-card and/or card); balance conversion, cost, reversibility, and risk. • Monitor KPIs (conversion, loss, support volume) and iterate quickly based on performance and risk signals. Qualifications: • Fully bilingual in English and Mandarin. This is a mandatory requirement for all candidates. • Proven 0-1 track record building and launching wallet or money movement products. • Practical experience with US/CA payment rails (ACH, wire, RTP, push-to-card and/or card) plus settlement & reconciliation. • Hands-on compliance-by-design experience (KYC/KYB, AML, sanctions, limits/cooldowns, monitoring). • Strong execution leadership working with engineering and external banking/payment partners. • Background in wallets/payments/fintech is an asset.
