Position Overview The Labor Estimator / Sales Manager will play a key role in driving revenue growth in the final cleaning and interior demolition division by managing bid opportunities, preparing estimates, developing client relationships, and overseeing project handoffs to operations. This individual should bring a strong understanding of union labor cost structures, estimating practices, and the competitive dynamics of the cleaning and demolition markets. Key Responsibilities Review bid invitations, drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed estimates and proposals for final cleaning and demolition scopesConduct site walks and pre-bid meetings with GCs and owners to assess project conditions and scope requirementsBuild and maintain relationships with general contractors, construction managers, and developers to generate recurring work Negotiate contracts and change orders in coordination with management. Track active bids, awarded work, and historical pricing to improve estimating accuracy and forecastingWork closely with field operations to ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction to executionDevelop marketing materials and client outreach strategies in coordination with leadership. Qualifications Minimum 3–5 years of experience in estimating or project management within construction, preferably in union environmentsStrong understanding of labor rates, production factors, and material pricing for cleaning, demolition, or finish trades.Ability to read blueprints, specs, and bid documents with precisionProficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software (Knowify, Procore, or similar a plus) Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset with a commitment to team success.Preferred Experience Existing relationships with regional GCs (Suffolk, Shawmut, Consigli, etc.) Experience working with union labor and understanding of CBAs and wage schedules.
