A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required, along with at least 1 year of experience in R&D tax credit work. Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.
Location: All Locations in the United States Work Arrangement: Remote, Hybrid, or In-office Typical Day in the Life A typical day as an R&D Tax Associate might include the following: Assisting in the execution of R&D tax credit engagements for clients in the manufacturing, technology, and bioscience industries. Assisting project leaders with interviews with technical and financial personnel to identify qualifying R&D activities and costs. Working with our offshore team for costing analysis and credit preparation. Reviewing credit calculations and analysis of the costing support. Review detailed documentation to support R&D tax credit claims, including contracts. Drafting technical narratives and reports summarizing research activities. Collaborating with senior team members to ensure compliance with IRS regulations and guidance. Researching changes in R&D tax legislation and industry trends. Open to incorporating AI into processes. Who You Are You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. You have at least 1 year of experience with R&D tax credit work and related incentives. You have a knack for solving problems and easily notice issues while bringing solutions to the table. You have knowledge of and exposure to a variety of industries. You are a self-starter and enjoy working independently. You have strong computer skills and are proficient in Microsoft Office. You are able to travel and work at office locations around the Firm and at client locations. Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
