Support recruitment and onboarding of local businesses for Amazon's Hub Delivery program through direct sales and community engagement.
1-2 years field sales or customer service experience, strong communication, tech savvy, and ability to work in market up to 8 hours daily.
ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Assistant to support the Amazon’s Hub Delivery program. In this position, you will be responsible for recruiting local businesses to join the Hub delivery program. You will work alongside a Business Development Manager and other local account development executives to visit prospective businesses, pitch the program opportunity, qualify the business, guide the business through the application process, drive referrals through community organizations, and coordinate and execute recruitment events. This role requires travel within market and significant door to door walking. Job Description: • Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted zip codes (typically within urban centers and surrounding areas) • Present and pitch the program opportunity to prospective businesses and generate interest to apply • Qualify the prospective businesses and guide through application, vetting, onboarding process • Track lead activity and manage pipeline in Salesforce • Support Business Development Managers to plan and host recruitment events in the community (ex: lunch and learns, town-hall meetings, coffee chats) • Partner with Business Development Managers to work with local champions such as chambers of commerce and economic development associations • Partner with Account Mangers and other team members to support newly recruited businesses on launch day and as needed • Perform other duties as assigned related to the recruitment and retention of businesses • Track all activities and outcomes, experience with Salesforce is a plus Must Have Qualifications: • 1-2 years in field sales and/or customer service experiences • Exceptional customer service and communication skills • Team first can do attitude a must • Prior experience in a role that involved sales and/or negotiation with customers is a plus • Professionalism, enthusiasm to work with others, and high sense of urgency • Attention to Detail and ability to solve problems for applicants in the field • Tech Savvy (Experience working with multiple systems and technology) • Ability to be in market up to 8 hours daily • Access to reliable transportation and or mass transit (millage / expenses to be reimbursed) • Spanish, Mandarin, or other 2nd language a plus Pay: $29 an hour plus uncapped commissions! Expected applications and launches commissions targeted at $8,500-$14,000 annually
