Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in East Berlin, CT, for a Senior Mechanical Engineer. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and improvement of industrial laundry equipment. Responsibilities include leading machine design projects, utilizing CAD software for design tasks, and collaborating with the team to innovate solutions and improve product performance. The role also involves overseeing research and development tasks, problem-solving technical challenges, and contributing to project management initiatives to ensure timely and successful outcomes. Qualifications • Strong expertise in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for creating detailed models and technical drawings • Experience with Research and Development (R&D), including problem-solving and product innovation • Knowledge of Project Management principles to effectively plan and execute engineering projects • Excellent analytical and communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage tasks • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required • Prior experience in industrial equipment design or manufacturing is required
