We are seeking a Quality Engineer to work directly with our Next-Generation Power Systems Division and focus on developing and implementing quality assurance processes, developing product inspection standards, conducting supplier audits, and supporting new product development activities. Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To • Quality Management & Assurance: Develop and execute quality control plans, inspections, audits, and validation protocols for new product development and mass production manufacturing. • Supplier Quality & Audits: Collaborate with internal cross functional teams to develop Quality audit process and product inspection standards. • Conduct supplier audits to verify compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions. • Process Development & Improvement: Establish and refine quality objectives, standards, and metrics in alignment with ISO9001 and industry best practices. • Root Cause & Corrective Action: Lead investigations into failures and reliability events; implement corrective and preventive measures with internal cross functional teams and external suppliers. • Pre and Post Operational Checks: Perform quality assurance requirements during initial product launch and after mass production. • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed quality documentation, including inspection reports, audit findings, and supplier performance records. • Travel 20-40% (domestic and international) for supplier qualifications, audits, and critical inspections. Skills & Requirements Education / Experience • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related engineering discipline. • Experiences and familiar with UL, ROHS, CE compliance requirements • 5–8 years of experience in quality engineering and manufacturing operations. • Familiarity with quality methodologies (Problem Solving, SPC, FMEA, DOE). • Experience conducting supplier audits and managing supplier quality programs.
