Job Description: The receptionist is responsible for greeting clients, visitors and employees to our office. Provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties. Responsibilities: • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk • Ensure all visitors sign in and out • Issue, cancel and manage all necessary badges • Greet and professionally interact with visitors and other employees. Provide direction, and respond to all questions and/or concerns • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls • Schedule meetings and book conference rooms • Coordinate invitations and lunches for meetings • Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.) • Receive, sort and distribute all mail and or packages • Ensure all conference rooms, Lobby and break rooms maintain a clean and professional environment Requirements: • High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus • 3+ years receptionist, or front office experience • Professional attitude and appearance • Exceptional organizational and planning skills • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel • Experience with multi-line phone or switchboard system preferred • Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance • Excellent interpersonal skills • Punctual with exceptional and reliable work ethic Note: EDF is an EEO employer We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified candidates will receive consideration for all positions without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, disability, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.
