Job Summary: The Product Owner – Integrations & API Ecosystem will lead the strategic evolution and delivery of our platform’s integration capabilities. This role is responsible for managing the product backlog for APIs, ERP and banking connectors, and file based exchange workflows. The Product Owner will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, implementation, and external partners to ensure seamless connectivity between our platform and customer systems. While not a coding role, this position requires deep technical fluency and ownership of integration documentation, requirements, and iPaaS adoption. Essential Functions: Duties and Responsibilities Own and prioritize the integration product backlog, including API enhancements, ERP connectors, SFTP workflows, and banking file formats. Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans for integration features. Collaborate with engineering teams during sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Ensure integration capabilities align with customer needs, compliance standards, and platform scalability. Maintain and evolve API documentation, developer onboarding guides, and partner facing materials. Lead the evaluation and implementation of an iPaaS platform to simplify external integrations. Define integration patterns and governance for internal and external developers. Serve as subject matter expert on ERP integrations (e.g., NetSuite, Dynamics, Infor M3). Define workflows and data mappings for invoice, payment, and reconciliation processes. Oversee banking integrations including NACHA, ISO 20022, and Positive Pay formats. Ensure secure and compliant file exchange via SFTP and other protocols. Partner with customer success, implementation teams, and external clients to gather integration requirements. Monitor adoption, performance, and feedback to continuously improve integration offerings. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong technical documentation and API literacy. Deep understanding of ERP systems and financial workflows. Familiarity with banking standards such as NACHA, ISO 20022, and Positive Pay. Experience with iPaaS platforms (e.g., Boomi, Celigo, MuleSoft, Workato). Ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and customer facing teams. Strong organizational and prioritization skills in Agile/Scrum environments. Education and Experience: Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or Integration Lead. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Preferred: Background in payments, fintech, or invoice automation. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Understanding of API security and authentication standards.
