Eddie Kane Steel Products has been a family owned and operated business providing exceptional service in the steel industry for over 25 years. The company motto has always been to "Treat others as you would have them treat you" and we are in search of a full time Jr Sales Rep "Inside Sales" (Entry Level) position at our corporate offices located in Sea Girt, New Jersey. College and Trade School grads encouraged to apply! No sales experience required, will train the right candidate! General Description: Responsible for providing overall sales support to President, VP of Sales, and selected sales team members as well as the responsibility for assigned EKSP customer accounts. Duties and Responsibilities: · Provide sales support for President and VP of Sales, including creating reports and inventory lists, completing customer quotations, entering Job control Documents · Regular communication with President and VP of Sales and assigned customer accounts · Aid selected sales team members in areas of order entry, reports/lists, customer communication · Assist with customer drawings of cut parts for steel plate processing quotations per customer drawings or customer approved EKSP drawing based on customer description. · Communication with sales team leader and salespeople regarding customer drawings as needed. · Ensure that all customer orders are given prompt attention and recognize the priorities to enable accurate scheduling consistent with customer demand, customer satisfaction, and EKSP objectives. · Assist and participate in material sales. · Other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge and Skill Sets: · Excellent oral and written communications skills · Good problem-solving skills and strong initiative / “can do” attitude · Good interpersonal skills, phone manners and the ability to work with others · Good organizational, planning and time management skills · Excellent computer skills, including comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word. · Prior experience with a construction or engineering firm preferred · Ability to read and decipher blueprints a plus · Prior experience with DraftSight, and/or ProNest is a plus, but not required Education/Experience: • High School Diploma or Equivalent • Associates Degree or equivalent preferred • Prior experience with a construction or engineering firm preferred The health and safety of our Eddie Kane Steel Products employees is of the utmost importance to us and ensure that we have all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and hand sanitizer available to our employees, take employee, visitor and vendor temperatures, disinfect all common areas, practice social distancing and washing hands throughout the day to maintain a safe and healthy work environment! • *NO AGENCIES ** NO RELOCATION ** NO CALLS ** Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Application Question(s): • What are your salary requirements?
