Commissioning (Cx) Agent & Project Manager Location: Miami, FL Role Summary Energy Cost Solutions Group (ECSG) is seeking a motivated Commissioning (Cx) Agent & Project Manager to support building commissioning and green building certification projects. This role works closely with internal staff, design teams, and project stakeholders to verify building performance and support certification efforts for new construction and existing buildings. The position is Miami, FL–based and requires the ability to perform site visits as needed. Success in this role means completing commissioning and documentation tasks accurately and on schedule, conducting thorough site inspections, and helping projects achieve commissioning and green building certification milestones. This position is a key part of ECSG’s project delivery team and works directly with senior leadership. Responsibilities • Perform building commissioning activities, including pre-functional and functional testing • Develop, complete, and review commissioning checklists and reports • Conduct site inspections and field observations as required • Coordinate commissioning and certification tasks to meet project schedules and milestones • Complete and manage online documentation for green building certification applications • Communicate with project teams to support commissioning and certification efforts Qualifications • Understanding of building MEP systems • Familiarity with LEED, NGBS, and FGBC green building rating systems • Exposure to electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems in commercial buildings is a plus • Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills • Relevant commissioning or green building experience preferred Professional Development This role provides hands-on exposure to commissioning and green building certification projects, with opportunities to expand technical and project coordination skills through direct involvement in active projects. Compensation Pay is based on experience and the candidate’s ability to contribute meaningfully while achieving project commissioning and certification milestones.
