ECS is seeking a Senior Data Support Analyst to work remotely. ECS is seeking a Senior Data Support Analyst to support a growing business intelligence and data analytics team supporting DHS HQ. The Senior Data Support Analyst plays a lead role in enabling and optimizing the use of a data analytics platform. This position is responsible for independently analyzing complex platform inquiries, improving intake/triage workflows, coordinating cross-functional resolution efforts, and identifying systemic issues that impact user experience. This role requires strong analytical judgement, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead operational improvements. Key responsibilities include: * Lead the intake and triage of complex analytics platform requests, exercising independent judgement to determine resolution strategies. * Design and refine request intake workflows and operational processes within ServiceNow. * Perform analysis of data, platform behavior, and system interactions to diagnose and resolve advanced issues. * Coordinate cross-functional resolution efforts across data engineering, platform, and infrastructure teams. * Develop standards, playbooks, and operational guidance for analytics platform support and enablement. * Mentor junior analysts and provide quality oversight of request analysis and documentation. * Identify systemic issues impacting user experience and recommend enhancements to platform features, documentation, or governance processes. * Ability to resolve database-related issues using SQL. Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 General Description of Benefits [https://ecstech.com/careers/benefits] Qualifications * Must be a US Citizen * Ability to successfully maintain a DHS Entry on Duty (EOD)/Public Trust * 5+ years of experience working in IT. * Familiarity with data analytics platforms, reporting tools, or data systems. * Experience documenting requirements and requests clearly and accurately. * Strong troubleshooting approach and problem-solving skills. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in conveying technical information to non-technical users. * Experience working with service management or intake systems (e.g., ServiceNow). * Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests simultaneously. * Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and data querying concepts. * Knowledge of SQL. * Experience in Agile environments.
