Job Description ECS Financial Services is seeking current accounting college students to participate in its internship program. Interns will have the opportunity to interact with and assist full-time CPA's with a variety of tax return and financial statement preparation functions. This internship is designed to be both educational and practical by teaching necessary skills while providing ECS with additional staffing during our busy season. An intern should come away from the experience with knowledge he or she can apply in the professional atmosphere after graduation. Job Responsibilities • Preparation of personal property, sales and payroll tax returns. • Preparation of business and personal income tax returns. • Rendering of tax and management advice under management supervision. • Preparation of correspondence to clients and taxing authorities. • Participation in compilation, review and audit engagements. • Preparation of full-disclosure financial statements. Job Requirements • Current or recent enrollment in a graduate or undergraduate degree program in accounting. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications. • Self-motivation and strong work ethic. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
