ECS is seeking qualified Lifecycle Quality Assurance Specialist candidates to join our team, supporting National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration' (NOAA) large-scale project. This is a remote position. Eligible candidates must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, possess the ability to plan ahead and be customer- support focused. This position is responsible for supporting the project during the entire lifecycle of the assigned projects. • 4+ years of relevant work experience required* Responsibilities • Work with stakeholders to facilitate technical coordination throughout the transition to operations phase. • Plan tasks and align the transition activities to the project schedule and needs • Gather requirements and prepare Requirements Allocation Documents. Provide requirement support to the entire and ensure traceability. • Identify gaps and coordinate across teams to mitigate gaps • Work with stakeholders to identify and track risks and actions • Prepare presentations and required materials to lead and conduct lifecycle reviews • Ensure that the established quality assurance standards and procedures are followed during the development and packaging • Support program's software development effort using Agile methodology Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000 General Description of Benefits Requirements: • Experience developing/integrating software for scientific applications (preferably Fortran/C/C++ in a Linux environment) to estimate the algorithm complexity and level of efforts needed in transition • Formal course work in Physics/ Atmospheric science/ Satellite Meteorology/ Remote sensing, or 4+ years of experience thereof. • Ability to quickly learn new skillsets and obtain scientific knowledge in remote sensing • Ability to communicate complex problems clearly • Excellent teamwork, strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail • Ability to work with teams from a variety of work settings within a large organization such as NOAA • Bachelor's degree • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance Req Benefits: https://ecstech.com/careers/benefits/">https://ecstech.com/careers/benefits/
