Full Description

ECS is seeking a Data Solutions Architect to work remotely.  Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.   Responsible for the overall design and governance of the enterprise data platform. Defines Azure resource architecture, metadata strategy, data integration patterns, and ensures platform scalability and sustainability. Advises on governance best practices and supports long-term alignment with USPS collaboration goals. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. * Must be able to pass a Public Trust clearance * Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise data architecture, including at least 5 years in designing and deploying cloud-based data platforms (preferably Azure). * Expert-level knowledge of Azure architecture (Data Lake Gen2, Synapse, Purview, Key Vault) * Experience designing metadata strategies and data governance models * Familiarity with tenant federation, security architecture, and role-based access models * Proficient in SQL, data modeling, and data lineage documentation
