JOB SUMMARY The Vice President of Retail Partnerships and Growth is responsible for driving revenue growth, market share, and profitability through new customer acquisition, existing customer expansion, maximizing opportunities among existing customers, and customer retainment. This position requires a strategic executive leader who will leverage industry expertise and understanding of retailer’s goals and objectives to accelerate adoption of ECRS products and services. The VP of Retail Partnerships and Growth will lead the Direct Sales and Customer Care teams through a scalable systematic sales approach, mentorship, expertise, and holding each team member accountable for metric, quota, and goal attainment. RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop and achieve sales goals in yearly New Relationship account attainment.    * Develop and achieve sales goals for existing customer base.  * Provide oversight for existing customer accounts to maximize new revenue opportunities, drive deeper adoption of ECRS’ extensive products and services offerings, meet quota attainment, and ensure 98% YoY customer retainment.    * Recruit, retain, develop, and lead a sales team capable of carrying out all needed sales initiatives and quota attainment.  * Act as the primary corporate communication interface to the President and CEO for the sales team.  * Provide a positive and motivational work environment that aligns to and supports senior management, company initiatives, and objectives, and drives each employee to higher performance.  * Ensure full adoption and daily utilization of the CRM across all team members  * Develop annual sales plans in support of organizational strategy, marketing, and financial objectives.  * Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotas, and plans to determine effectiveness and implement corrective actions as needed.  * Develop and implement strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services and set performance goals accordingly.  * Maintain an accurate company sales forecast with a minimum of 75% monthly accuracy and track attainment.  * Participate in the company’s weekly executive team meeting.  * Develop and maintain ECRS sales policies and practices that drive desired sales outcomes.  * Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to create annual marketing strategy and messaging programs that generate a measurable ROI.  * Work closely with the Director of Marketing to establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all sales activities. * Work with Product Leaders to build a highly trained and proficient sales team and deliver sales training programs and materials that empower sales team members to effectively sell ECRS Products and Services.  * Work in tandem with grocery industry leadership to maximize sales team member knowledge of the grocery market.  * Adjust sales team staffing as needed, based on metrics, to attain the assigned annual sales quota.  * Maintain the highest level of department productivity by measuring the business metrics of each team member weekly and implementing corrective actions as needed.  * Achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends.  * Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.  * Travel to client sites, prospect sites, trade shows, and industry association meetings as needed to stay abreast of industry trends.  * Act as an escalation channel to communicate software development issues as relayed by sales team, prospects, and existing clients to Product Leadership and follow through on resolution.  * Meet with key prospects and customers and assist less experienced team members with maintaining relationships, negotiating, and closing deals until they are self-sufficient and fully successful in these areas. * Analyze and control expenditures to follow budgetary requirements. * This position requires frequent travel, more than 30%. Most travel is outside the local area and overnight. Some of the travel could occasionally be international. Qualifications * 5+ years of Sales or Customer Management experience. * 5+ years of Management experience. * Proven track record in driving revenue growth, expanding retail operations, and leading cross-functional teams. * Experience in strategic planning, P&L management, and market expansion is essential. * Additional preference for individuals who can demonstrate a track record of successfully scaling a team and their performance within a rapidly growing business. * Deep understanding of retail store operations. * Strong ability to learn and retain product knowledge. * Strong leadership qualities and consistent ability to develop others to their highest potential. * A strong desire for responsibility.
