Job Number: 25-05705 Progress on your journey to success! ECLARO is currently recruiting for an EVS Aide in the Oak Park, IL area for one of our clients. ECLARO’s client is a leading provider of healthcare workforce software and solutions. If you’re up to the challenge, then take a chance at this rewarding opportunity! Position Overview: • Responsible for daily cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms and all other corresponding unit areas. • Will follow prescribed departmental cleaning standards in conjunction with infection control and safety procedures. Pay Rate: $14.00-$17.00/Hour. Responsibilities: • Sweeps, dust mops, and wet mops. • Vacuums, spot cleans walls, cleans glass / ledges. • Sanitizes patient room surfaces, sanitizes bathrooms. • Performs discharge cleaning of patient rooms. • Cleans equipment and notifies the supervisor or lead person of equipment requiring repair. • Reports safety hazards to supervisor or lead person. • Collects trash from patient rooms, nurses' stations, ancillary areas. • Pulls trash outside around the grounds of the facility. • Cleans and sanitizes ancillary areas. • Assists in cleaning of emergency spills observed or reported. • Performs any other tasks which may be assigned by the supervisor or lead person. Required Qualifications: • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Good communication skills. Capable of operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums. • Knowledge:3 months - 1 year of environmental services experience in a hospital, high school diploma or equivalent GED (preferred). • Skills: Follow oral and written instructions. Good communication.
