Full Description

Overview As the Sales Technology Manager, you will own and optimize the sales and revenue technology stack that supports our go-to-market organization. As part of the Sales Operations team, you’ll partner with Sales, Business Development, Marketing Operations, IT, and Enablement to ensure our tools are strategically selected, effectively implemented, and fully adopted by end users. This role is critical to scaling our business by enabling sellers and BDRs with the right data, workflows, and insights to drive predictable growth. In addition, you will play a key role in developing and implementing data-driven insights that inform critical business decisions, including creating dashboards, conducting predictive analytics, and ensuring data quality across the organization. The individual will drive data-driven decision-making to maximize revenue generation across the organization. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of customer and prospect data, sales processes and technology. Responsibilities: Tech Stack Strategy & Selection • Evaluate, recommend, and procure new sales and revenue technologies aligned with business requirements and growth objectives. • Maintain a roadmap for sales technology evolution, ensuring integration with CRM (Salesforce/Marketo/etc.), ERP, and other enterprise systems. • Conduct vendor and tool assessments, ensuring business objectives are being met Implementation & Systems Management • Lead implementation, configuration, and ongoing administration of sales technology platforms (CRM, CPQ, sales engagement, prospecting, forecasting, enablement, data enrichment, etc.). • Ensure seamless system integrations to maintain data flow across marketing, sales, customer success, and finance. • Establish governance processes for tool usage, permissions, and data quality. Enablement & Adoption • Develop training programs, guides, and workshops to drive adoption and best practices across the sales organization. • Partner with Sales Enablement to align tool use with selling methodologies and workflows. • Serve as the point of contact for tool-related questions, issues, and enhancements. Performance & Optimization • Define success metrics for each tool and measure ROI on technology investments. • Continuously monitor performance, user adoption, and system health, making recommendations for optimization. • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our stack remains competitive. Sales Data, Strategy and Analytics • Gather and analyze sales data (pipeline, bookings, win rate) trends and patterns, develop and maintain sales forecasts, maintain engagement with sales team (leaders and sellers) and sales enablement team to drive/support initiatives to meet targets. • Recommend changes in sales strategy. Work with stakeholders – marketing, product to streamline sales and marketing efforts. • Monitor and interpret sales performance metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to sales teams to improve decision-making.? • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all sales systems and platforms. Qualifications: Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred. • Minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on experience in sales operations with relevant experience in analytics, systems, processes, tools etc. We are looking for a rock star who will play a key role on the sales operations team at ECI. Individual should have the ability to be hands on and ready to coach and lead peers and team as we expand this function here in ECI. Skills and Competencies • Proven experience with Salesforce CRM and other sales automation platforms. • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, CRMA, or similar. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making. • Demonstrated ability to optimize sales processes and implement sales technologies. • Experience in sales planning, forecasting and compensation management. • Excellent project management skills with a track record of managing complex projects. • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
