Job Overview We are a growing public adjusting company that helps homeowners and businesses navigate property insurance claims. As we grow, we’re looking for a reliable, organized Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day backend operations and help keep everything running smoothly. This is a part-time role with flexible scheduling. If you enjoy multitasking, communicating with people, and working in a structured environment, this role is a great fit. Responsibilities • Answer and manage emails in a timely, professional manner • Call insurance companies to request updates, follow up on claim statuses, and document conversations • Answer incoming calls and take detailed messages • Make light outbound calls for networking, follow-ups, and outreach • Help organize documents, claims, and client information • Assist with scheduling, reminders, and general office coordination • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times • Support the owner with additional administrative tasks as needed Skills • Strong communication skills (phone + email) • Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented • Comfortable making and receiving calls • Ability to multitask and manage priorities • Basic computer skills (email, PDF handling, simple data entry) • Prior administrative or customer service experience preferred • Insurance experience is a plus but not required — we can train you Benefits • Flexible schedule • Paid training • Opportunities for growth within the company • Professional development support • Occasional performance bonuses Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Professional development assistance Application Question(s): • How many years of administrative experience do you have? • Are you comfortable making phone calls? • This is a part-time job.
