Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Regional Program Manager Lead. This is a remote work opportunity that can be based from a home office and/or from an approved Eaton Mobility facility within the United States. Preference will be given to candidates residing within the Michigan/Indiana regional areas. The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. The Regional Program Manager Lead is responsible for supervising and enabling a team of program managers in the successful delivery of complex, global New Product Introduction (NPI), Standard Transition Process (STP), and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) initiatives. This role will ensure consistent execution of enterprise program management methodologies (e.g., ProLaunch / ProPM) across programs by coaching, guiding, and monitoring program managers, driving governance, accountability, and performance discipline. You will lead cross-functional alignment at the regional level while supporting program managers in resolving risks, escalations, and business challenges. The successful candidate will develop organizational capability by mentoring program managers, strengthening execution maturity, and promoting continuous improvement. This position will lead regional capital planning and prioritization processes in partnership with Operations and Finance, ensuring alignment with program and operational objectives. What you'll do: • Oversee multiple programs to ensure successful delivery of scope, schedule, quality, and financial objectives, while supervising and developing program managers to drive performance and organizational capability. • Develop and govern fully integrated program management plans (including WBS, schedules, resource plans, capital requirements, risk registers, and communication frameworks), ensuring alignment across all stakeholders. • Drive standardized program management practices, tools, KPIs, and phase-gate governance (e.g., ProLaunch) to ensure transparency, predictability, and disciplined execution. • Manage program scope, risks, issues, and opportunities using structured methodologies, ensuring rigorous baseline control, proactive mitigation, and value realization. • Align, influence, and hold accountable cross-functional stakeholders to ensure manufacturing readiness, technical maturity, and successful product launch. • Build and lead high-performing teams by coaching, mentoring, and providing structured feedback within a matrixed environment, fostering accountability and continuous improvement. • Define, validate, and manage program business cases by integrating financials, customer requirements, market trends, and competitive dynamics into program strategy and execution. • Manage program financial performance, including forecasting, reporting, and variance control, while driving data-informed decisions and trade-offs to protect profitability and strategic objectives. • Coordinate customer-related program activities, including requirements alignment, specification updates, and change request tracking, ensuring clear communication and support of program execution. • Lead program communication, governance, and transformation activities, including executive reporting, decision forums, organizational change management, capital planning (CARs), automation initiatives, and institutionalization of lessons learned. • Coordinate prioritization and resource alignment across multiple programs, balancing competing demands and supporting decision-making at the regional level. Qualifications: Required Basic Qualifications: • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain and/or Operations from an accredited institution • Minimum ten (10) years experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering, supply chain, program management and/or related business functions within automotive/ industrial manufacturing environments. • Minimum five (5) years of experience leading complex programs/projects in a global manufacturing environment. • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any "CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc." Preferred Qualifications: • Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain and/or Operations Management • Experience with product development/ launch execution in an Automotive/Industrial manufacturing environment • Project Management Certification: PMP (PMI), PgMP, or equivalent certification demonstrating advanced program and portfolio management expertise. Skills: • Program Leadership & Execution: Leads complex, global programs with strong planning discipline, operational understanding, and consistent delivery of commitments across lifecycle phases. • Strategic & Business Acumen: Aligns programs with business strategy, product roadmaps, and market needs while effectively managing business cases and financial trade-offs. • Decision Quality & Analytical Capability: Applies data-driven, well-structured decision-making using performance metrics, scenario analysis, and sound business judgment. • Customer & Market Focus: Integrates customer requirements, product knowledge, and competitive insights to optimize program outcomes. • Change Management & Continuous Improvement: Leads organizational change and drives process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and lessons learned. • Collaboration & Influence: Effectively leads and influences cross-functional, global teams within a matrixed organization, fostering alignment and accountability. • Leadership & Talent Development: Demonstrates strong leadership behaviors, coaching and developing teams while promoting a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous learning. • Results Orientation & Execution Excellence: Operates with a high level of ownership, adaptability, and urgency to achieve business results and sustain performance under pressure. • Operational Experience: Hands-on experience in manufacturing or plant environments with understanding of operations, processes, and supply chain principles • Travel: Willingness to travel approximately 25%+ The application window for this position is anticipated to close on 7/12/2026.
