Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Electro-Mechanical Assembler B. The hours for this role are 7:00AM - 3:30PM The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What You’ll Do PRIMARY FUNCTION To assemble and/or test components using tools and fixtures and working from manufacturing documentation. This is a first shift position. Essential Functions • Follow work orders, engineering drawings, and visual/written work instructions to assemble electro-mechanical components. • Uses machines or hand tools to crimp, stake, bolt rivet, solder, cement, press fit or perform similar operations to secure parts in place. • Mount electrical components such as transformers, resistors, capacitors, integrate circuits, etc. • Makes a variety of electrical connections using soldering or related bonding procedures. • Uses equipment such as multimeters and dielectric machines to in-process test parts during assembly. • Assist in resolving production failures or product issues. • Identify and initiate continuous improvement for product safety, quality, and efficiency. • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment • Work in a team environment for flow assembly work. Qualifications SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE • Soldering • Blueprint reading • Measuring with basic instruments • As required by manager Minimum Educational And Qualification Needed To Perform Essential Functions • High School Diploma or GED from accredited institution • Minimum six (6) montsh experience in mechanical or electrical assemblies • Reside within 50 miles of location (no relocation benefit) • US person within the meaning of ITAR.
