Manage short-term production scheduling, inventory accuracy, and logistics activities to support manufacturing operations, driving continuous improvement and ensuring target service levels.

Requirements

Minimum five years of experience in materials, operations, or supply chain management in manufacturing, with at least three years of managerial experience, and knowledge of forecasting, bill of materials, and plant processes.

Scheduling production in the short term horizon based on the S&OE processes Maintaining Inventory Accuracy through accurate cycle counting Movement of materials through the facility Internal receipts, storage, distribution and transportation Manage logistics activities for the site Responsible for managing materials flow and transactions inventory to support the plant's operations by deploying lean material flow. Responsible for generating short-term production scheduling aligned the plan defined by the Network Responsible for monitoring execution of production schedule defined by the Network ( schedule labor on factory floor, monitor execution of the production plan) Responsible for escalation of of material availability to the COE and Network teams Drive forecast attainment aligned with the MPS resulted from the SIOP plan Execute shipment schedule aligned with the customer priority dates aligned with the network and customer service team. Champion and deploy continuous improvement leveraging tools such as internal assessments ( MMA,OPA), visual management, standard work and value stream mapping Responsible for maintaining target inventory levels and meeting OTD goals for both internal and external customers and overall freight targets (including premium freight) aligned with the plan defined by the network Responsible for plant owned data health activities including but not limited to routings and WMS system, MRO, shipping and receiving, part movements, production scheduling This role is a point of contact to escalations related to execution of the overall SIOP plan Bachelor's degree from accredited institution Minimum five (5) years' combined experience in Materials, Operations and/or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment Minimum three (3) years of manager of people experience No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Wilsonville, OR to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Experience in supporting cross-functional SIOP and Inventory management processes Technical knowledge of forecasting techniques, bill of material structuring and scheduling execution In-depth knowledge of plant manufacturing processes and value streams from raw materials to finished product APICS/CPIM Certification is preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to motivate team members to drive for results
