High school diploma or equivalent, minimum one year production experience, forklift operation, blueprint reading, ability to lift 50 pounds, and effective communication skills.
The M-Force Assembler position utilizes knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform a variety of tasks in the production of the Power Systems M-Force Three-Phase Switch product line. Maintains standards of quality, production, and safety; complies with all company policies and works as part of a team to ensure that daily goals are met. Safety: Responsible for following all safety policies and procedures, complying with JSA's, wearing proper PPE, complying with the production attire policy, and assuring that the work cell has safe equipment and no risk is placed on their coworkers or themselves. Any safety issue identified should be reported immediately to supervisor or manager. General cleaning of shop areas and personal 5S/industrial housekeeping responsibility. Work under limited supervision to plan, requisition materials, set up and operate a variety of operations and coordinate run sequences to assemble polymer and/or porcelain three-phase switches according to the OMS/standard work for each operation. Work from drawings, prints, work orders, or operation descriptions. Ensure the supervisor/manager is notified of all problems with product or quality Responsible for general cleaning of shop areas and personal 5S/industrial housekeeping Must have High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Minimum of one year production experience Experience with driving a forklift Experience with reading blue prints Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to read and write, simple math skills including adding and subtracting whole numbers and fractions. Ability to read and interpret a tape measure. Ability to communicate problems in product or quality in to supervisor or manager clearly and concisely. Ability to support a team environment, accepting other duties as assigned, including flexing between work cells as needed.
