Eataly is not a chain; each Eataly is different, with its own character and own theme – but all with the same aim... for our guests to: EAT authentic Italian food at our restaurants, cafés and to-go counters SHOP a selection of high-quality Italian, local and homemade products LEARN through our classes and our team’s product knowledge Job Description The Wine Store Sales Associate assists guests with all steps of their shopping experience including: guiding them to products, securing products out of reach, loading heavy items and making suggestions. Reports to the Beverage Managers. Provides prompt, efficient and friendly guest service Educates guests about Italian Wines, beer and beverages sold at Eataly Receives and stocks wine and wine store merchandise, may review invoices Rotates, faces and replenishes merchandise Opens wine and pours for guests Performs other duties as required or assigned Cash Handling Hourly Rate: $18-$19.00 Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Wine sale experience Italian wine knowledge preferred Job Requirements Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently; exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects Ability to exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 4 hours Flexible availability, including weekends, preferred Additional Information Benefits and Perks Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Parental Leave 401K with match or RRSP Free family meal daily Discounts at Eataly Classes on products and Italian cuisine Referral bonus program and more!
