About the position Responsibilities • Develop and implement government affairs strategies to influence policies. • Engage with political stakeholders at city hall and state levels. • Manage government affairs/public affairs agencies in North America. • Align agency activities with Arrive's commercial strategy and objectives. • Support North American teams in engaging with policymakers and organizations. • Collaborate with the Public Affairs Manager (Europe) and Director of Public Affairs. • Provide expertise and support to international colleagues as needed. Requirements • 6-12 years of public affairs/government relations experience. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. • Proven track record of managing lobbyists and agencies. • Experience in implementing policy change campaigns. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. • Ability to work independently in a global organization. • Experience managing agency budgets. • Strong project management skills. • Previous experience in a fast-paced, digital environment. • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Business, or a related field. Nice-to-haves • A second language would be beneficial. • Experience in transportation, mobility, technology, or smart city initiatives.
