Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Analyst – Part-Time, Contract (Remote) Contract Duration: 3–6 months Schedule: 20 hours/week | 4 hours/day Location: 100% Remote (U.S.-based) Compensation: $50–$55 per hour A rapidly growing cybersecurity company specializing in Managed Detection and Response (MDR) is seeking a Customer Assurance Analyst with a strong background in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to support key security initiatives during a high-demand period. Role Overview: The Analyst will play a key role in supporting security assurance efforts by responding to customer requests, maintaining up-to-date documentation, and contributing to process automation. This position involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders across sales, legal, product, and security teams to ensure timely and accurate responses to client inquiries. Key Responsibilities: • Complete customer security assessments and questionnaires within established SLAs • Triage and manage incoming customer requests for artifacts, audit responses, contract terms, and calls • Maintain internal and external security documentation (e.g., policies, standards, procedures) • Manage and update trust resources, including the Trust Profile and related portals • Identify opportunities for and support implementation of process automation • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across security, sales, legal, and product Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years of experience in Customer Assurance, GRC, or client-facing security roles • Strong understanding of key frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, CIS, GDPR) • Proven communication skills, both written and verbal • Experience working in SaaS, cloud, or other high-growth tech environments • Ability to operate independently and manage priorities across multiple teams • Background check required at the time of offer This is a great opportunity for professionals seeking contract work in a collaborative, security-focused environment without long-term commitment.
