Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and administrative tasks including scheduling, vitals, specimen collection, medication administration, and infection control.
High school diploma required, medical assistant certification preferred, 1 year EMR and vital signs experience preferred, BLS and CMA certifications preferred, in-person work and relocation required.
Duties: - Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care - Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records - Take patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse - Prepare patients for examinations and procedures - Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers - Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens - Assist with patient education and provide instructions for at-home care - Ensure compliance with infection control protocols Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent required - Completion of a medical assistant program or certification preferred - Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is a plus - Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures - Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: • Paid time off Experience: • EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred) • Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: • BLS Certification (Preferred) • Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred) Ability to Commute: • Eastpointe, MI 48021 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Eastpointe, MI 48021: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
