Key search areas include: • CFO, COO, CEO, and President • Head of FP&A, Controller, Chief Accounting Officer • CHRO, CRO, CMO, and functional executives • Operating Partners and Board-level leaders Position Summary We are seeking a proven and relationship-driven Senior Director to lead business development and execution within our Executive Search Practice. This role is responsible for identifying and securing new search engagements, deepening client relationships, and driving successful placement outcomes. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in executive recruiting, private equity networks, and client development. This is a high-visibility role with a clear path to practice leadership and the opportunity to influence the future of executive hiring in PE-backed companies. Key Responsibilities • Originate and lead retained and engaged executive search assignments with private equity firms and portfolio companies • Build and maintain senior-level client relationships with CFOs, CEOs, PE operating partners, and HR leaders • Scope roles, develop search strategies, and manage full-cycle search execution, from research to placement • Collaborate with internal research, delivery, and marketing teams to support client engagements • Represent East 57th Street Partners at industry events, conferences, and networking forums • Maintain a robust pipeline of high-impact executive talent across finance, operations, and strategy functions • Stay informed on industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive intelligence within the PE ecosystem Qualifications • Experience in executive search, business development, or client service leadership, preferably with a focus on private equity-backed or high-growth companies • Proven ability to originate and close executive search mandates • Strong relationships with private equity sponsors, CFOs, and C-level executives • Exceptional communication, client advisory, and presentation skills • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to delivery and client satisfaction • Experience working in or with retained search firms, management consulting, or Big 4 public accounting firms is a plus Location & Work Schedule • Preferred location: DFW Metroplex • Open to candidates in other major U.S. metro markets • Flexible hybrid/remote model What We Offer • Competitive base salary, performance-based bonus, and uncapped commission • High autonomy and ownership over client development and engagement strategy • A collaborative, high-performing team with a national platform and strong brand reputation • The opportunity to influence C-level hiring decisions and build leadership teams that drive enterprise value
