Mercor is seeking fellowship-trained radiologists for a project with one of the world’s top AI labs. We welcome applications from radiologists across all diagnostic subspecialties, with particular demand for fellowship-trained Musculoskeletal and Neuroradiology experts. This role focuses on evaluating the ability of large language models to answer advanced, real-world MSK and neuroradiology cases. You will design expert-level diagnostic and reasoning challenges that current models struggle to answer and provide authoritative, gold-standard solutions. You’re a good fit if you: • MD or DO from an accredited medical school • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency • Completion of a radiology fellowship (any subspecialty) • Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology • 2+ years of post-training clinical experience • Currently based in the United States • Exceptional attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills Strongly Preferred • Fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology and/or Neuroradiology • Primary clinical practice focused on MSK or neuro imaging • Academic or teaching experience (residents, fellows, conferences) • Experience creating case-based assessments, exam questions, or rubrics • Background in complex MRI interpretation or subspecialty-heavy workflows Here are more details about the role: • Develop gold-standard answers with clear diagnostic reasoning • Emphasize edge cases, nuanced differentials, and multimodal reasoning, particularly in MSK and neuroradiology • Collaborate directly with research teams at a leading AI lab • Provide feedback on common failure modes in model reasoning Screening Process: • You will complete a short interview (approximately 20–30 minutes total) • The interview will explore your clinical background and subspecialty expertise We consider all qualified applicants without regard to legally protected characteristics and provide reasonable accommodations upon request. Contract and payment terms • You will be engaged as an independent contractor. • This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule. • Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance. • Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution. • Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered. • Please note: We are unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time. About Mercor Mercor partners with leading AI labs and enterprises to train frontier models using human expertise. You will work on projects that focus on training and enhancing AI systems. You will be paid competitively, collaborate with leading researchers, and help shape the next generation of AI systems in your area of expertise.
