At EarlyDay, we are searching for passionate, dedicated, and nurturing professionals who are ready to use their experience and training to make a difference in children's lives. We have exciting opportunities and are hiring for multiple preschools, daycares, and childcare centers throughout Farmington Hills, Novi, Walled Lake, and surrounding areas in the Detroit metropolitan area. We are looking for both lead teachers and assistant teachers for our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. Teacher Responsibilities: • Interact affectionately and respectfully with children to promote their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that stimulate learning and growth in a preschool or daycare setting. • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages diverse learning experiences. • Communicate professionally and warmly with parents, children, and peers, enhancing collaboration and care. • Collaborate effectively and work well with other teachers and school staff members. • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures while supervising the children at all times. Teacher Qualifications: • High School diploma (or equivalent) is required. • Previous experience working in daycare, preschool, or child care settings with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children is preferred. • Coursework in early childhood education and child development is preferred.
