About Us Early Bird Education Group is a fast-growing, entrepreneurial company on a mission to make exceptional childcare and early education accessible to more families. We own and operate 43 locations across 9 states (OH, IN, KY, TN, AR, PA, GA, AL, VA). As we expand our network of childcare centers and build our corporate team, we’re looking for a Recruiting Manager who’s excited to build our recruiting function from the ground up and help us hire the incredible leaders who will shape our future. This is our first recruiting hire — an opportunity for someone who loves both strategy and execution, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in building something meaningful from scratch. What You’ll Do As our Recruiting Manager, you’ll take ownership of everything from talent strategy to hands-on recruiting. You’ll be responsible for hiring key roles across our centers and corporate teams — including Area Directors, Center Directors, Assistant Directors, and corporate support roles — while building scalable processes and systems that will fuel our growth for years to come. Here’s what your day-to-day might include: • Build the recruiting foundation: Design and implement systems, processes, and tools for an effective, scalable hiring engine. • Own full-cycle recruiting: Source, screen, interview, and close top talent across center leadership and corporate roles. • Develop proactive pipelines: Build and maintain strong candidate pools, even when roles aren’t open yet — so we’re always ready to hire great people. • Partner with leaders: Work closely with executives and hiring managers to forecast hiring needs, define roles, and develop sourcing strategies. • Train and enable others: Coach internal leaders and staff on recruiting best practices and interviewing techniques. • Champion our brand: Share our mission and story in the market, helping to attract candidates who believe in what we’re building. • Measure and improve: Track recruiting metrics, identify bottlenecks, and continuously refine our approach. Who You Are • 5+ years of recruiting experience, ideally with exposure to both frontline and corporate roles. • Experience in early childhood education, healthcare, or multi-site service organizations is a big plus. • A strong communicator and relationship builder — you make people feel valued and heard. • You’re hands-on, resourceful, and thrive in environments where you can create structure out of ambiguity. • You love building — whether it’s a new process, a pipeline, or a recruiting culture. • You’re passionate about helping others grow their careers and supporting an organization that makes a real impact on families. Why You’ll Love Working With Us • You’ll be the architect of our recruiting function and have a real voice in shaping our people strategy. • You’ll join a mission-driven team that’s redefining what great childcare looks like. • You’ll have ownership, autonomy, and visibility — reporting directly to senior leadership. • You’ll make a tangible impact on how our company grows and succeeds. Compensation & Benefits • Competitive salary and performance-based bonus • Health, dental, and vision benefits • Paid time off and holidays • Professional development and leadership growth opportunities Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $65,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Experience: • Recruiting: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: Remote
