Job Overview Eagles for Children is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Executive Director to serve as the organization’s public face. The Executive Director will provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and fundraising direction while ensuring excellence across all programs, partnerships, and communications. This role is ideal for a proven nonprofit leader who excels at building relationships, driving revenue, managing operations, and representing an organization with professionalism and passion. You will work closely with an engaged Board and passionate ambassadors. You will shape the next chapter of our growing nonprofit with real flexibility and influence. You will combine your creativeness, ingenuity, strategic vision, relationship-building, and hands-on leadership in a highly visible role. 3 Key Responsibilities • Be the face of Eagles for Children and run the day-to-day operations. • Develop an excellent relationship with the Club Ambassadors as well as the club’s executive staff. Support and encourage the Club Ambassadors to enhance the Eagles for Children experience at their club. • Champion the fundraising efforts by developing donor relations and sponsorships at EFC events. Detailed Responsibilities Organizational Leadership & Strategy • Provide overall leadership and direction for EFC, advancing its mission, values, and long-term sustainability. • Oversee day-to-day operations, staff, contractors, and consultants to ensure alignment and accountability. • Partner closely with the Board of Directors to develop strategy, track progress, and support strong governance. Fundraising & Revenue Growth • Lead and grow EFC’s fundraising efforts, including events, sponsorships, and partnerships to generate $250,000 - $300,000+ in operational support revenue. • Strengthen and expand relationships with corporate sponsors, donors, and community partners. • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities aligned with EFC’s mission. Ambassador, Club & Community Relations • Serve as the primary relationship builder with EFC ambassadors, participating clubs, and key stakeholders. • Support retention, engagement, and onboarding of new clubs and ambassadors. • Represent EFC with professionalism and enthusiasm across the golf and nonprofit communities. Communications & Visibility • Act as the public face and spokesperson for EFC. • Ensure clear, consistent, and compelling communication of EFC’s mission, impact, and value. • Oversee core communications such as reports, updates, and digital presence. Financial & Operational Oversight • Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and operational planning in partnership with external support and the Board. • Ensure effective systems for tracking performance, fundraising results, and program impact. • Continuously improve processes and leverage technology to increase efficiency. • Oversee new club recruitment and onboarding with Committee Chair. Experience Required • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience • 3–5 years of nonprofit leadership, fundraising, or operational management experience • Demonstrated success in fundraising, sponsorship development, or donor relations • Strong communication and public speaking skills • Financial literacy, including budgeting and reporting oversight • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines Preferred • Experience with golf or country clubs, youth-focused charities, or chapter-based organizations • Experience scaling a growing nonprofit • Familiarity with CRM systems, data analytics, and AI-enabled tools • Experience working closely with Boards and volunteer leadership Please include cover letter with your resume that details why you believe you are the ideal candidate for this position.
