All employees are expected to follow safe work practices, as well as adhere to company and client worksite safety policies and procedures Promotes core values to foster and safeguard a family-centric culture Oversees all OSP construction activities, including permitting, trenching, conduit and vault installation, fiber placement, splicing/testing, and restoration Coordinates and manages subcontractor performance and field resource deployment to meet project schedules Ensures all OSP work is performed safely, on time, within budget, and meets E2 Optics and client quality standards Provides leadership and support to Project Managers and Field Supervisors in planning, scheduling, and executing OSP work Serves as the point of escalation for OSP-related client issues, schedule delays, and field challenges Reviews and approves OSP-related forecasts, change orders, and progress reports Supports the Program Manager in client communication, reporting, and strategic planning for OSP program delivery Develops evaluation methods and KPIs to track OSP operational efficiency and performance improvement Leads progress meetings with clients, contractors, and internal teams to align on deliverables and milestones Travel: This position requires 30–40% travel, as determined by E2 Optics and/or the customer(s) What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s degree required; Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree PMP certification preferred OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred BICSI Technician or equivalent fiber certification preferred Familiarity with permitting, DOT regulations, and utility construction standards preferred Minimum of 7 years of experience in telecommunications, OSP construction, or fiber network management Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with strong knowledge of OSP design, trenching, conduit, vaults, and fiber placement Demonstrated leadership in managing large-scale OSP or telecom infrastructure programs Experience in program management, scheduling, cost control, and risk management Proven ability to lead diverse field teams across multiple regions and clients Experience with fiber optic splicing/testing, construction documentation, and QA/QC procedures Familiarity with local and state permitting processes, right-of-way coordination, and civil construction practices What We Offer (Text Only) - Competitive pay - Opportunities for professional development and career growth - BICSI-certified training facilities - A supportive and inclusive work environment - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off and holidays Work Environment and Physical Demands The standard work environment for this position includes both indoor business office settings and construction environments. The noise level is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must also regularly carry and climb ladders up to 20 feet. The employee must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies), if required. The employee may also be required to work in tight, confined spaces.
