As a Business Development Associate, you will be critical to driving business growth by identifying and executing on outreach to new and untapped markets and companies, as well as performing research on potential markets and companies to enter and further allocate resources in. You will bring experience in outbound sales and partnership development for B2B clients. Key Responsibilities • Proactively identify new business opportunities and potential clients within assigned territories or industries and engage these opportunities through cold calling, emails, networking, and other outreach tactics. • Research new potential clients through provided databases and conduct introduction meetings where applicable. • Utilize CRM software to effectively manage and coordinate outbound sales development conversations. • Prepare documents and presentations in preparation for client meetings in a timely fashion with hard deadlines. • Collaborate cross-functionally within marketing, product, and project management teams to find and drive new business opportunities. • Maintaining internal and third-party databases to ensure the most up-to-date information is available. • Domestic and international travel to meet with prospects, attend events, and exhibit at tradeshows. Minimum Qualifications • 1+ year of work experience in account management, sales, business development, or marketing in the manufacturing or commerce space. • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or adjacent fields to manufacturing or business development. • Experience using Microsoft Office in a professional capacity • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Self-starter with a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to outreach. • Experience in working in the manufacturing industry and with manufacturing processes. • Experience using CRM software and database software for outbound sales applications. • Knowledge of how to use CRM software specifically: HubSpot, Salesforce • Knowledge of how to use company databases specifically: Pitchbook, ZoomInfo, Cognism, 6sense, LinkedIn, etc. Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Insurance, 401K matching, Vacation, and Sick Leave.
