JOB TITLE: Operations Coordinator E-470 OVERVIEW: E-470 Public Highway Authority is a dynamic public agency managing the 47-mile toll facility on the eastern perimeter of the Denver Metro area. E-470 serves its customers as well as provides back-office tolling services for all other toll facilities in the State of Colorado. E-470 strives to provide top-notch customer service, improve safety, and save time for our drivers while being Colorado’s one-stop shop for tolling services. THE OPPORTUNITY: Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day operational functions of our organization. The Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring smooth internal workflows, supporting cross-departmental activities, and helping maintain operational efficiency across teams. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled at balancing multiple priorities with precision and professionalism and will report directly to Operations, Technology and Customer Experience (OTX) Executive Assistant. The successful candidate will have a great balance of people skills, approachability, and attention to detail. RESPONSIBILTIES: Administrative & Operational Support • Manage day-to-day administrative needs, including scheduling, meetings, supply coordination, and ad-hoc requests. • Monitor Operations, Technology and Customer Experience (OTX) department Organizational deliverables and deadlines and supports the Executive Assistant with all organizational needs. • Plan and coordinate department events, celebrations, and recognition activities. • Provide travel planning and itinerary support, as needed. • Responsible for tracking and reporting status around annual contract renewals, RFPs and process monthly requisitions, and purchase orders. • Develop and proofread power point presentations • And other duties as assigned Documentation & Reporting • Keep department calendars, onboarding materials, and templates accurate and up to date. • Record and distribute meeting notes and action items as assigned. • Track and compile weekly highlights, lookaheads, and quarterly audit updates. • Assist in preparing reports, board materials, and committee documents. Process Improvement • Maintain effective systems for tracking deliverables and recurring tasks. • Develop and update standardized tools and templates to streamline workflows. • Provide timely reminders and follow-ups to help the team stay on track with goals. People Skills • Approachable, and easy to connect with • Builds trust and positive relationships across teams • Collaborative and supportive in group settings QUALIFCATIONS: • 3+ years of experience in operations, administration, or coordination role. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently. • Experience supporting cross-functional teams • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with others EDUCATION • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
