3+ years in account management or sales in electrical or related industry, knowledge of commercial electrical systems, CRM proficiency, strong communication, and organizational skills.
We are looking for a driven and client-focused Account Manager – Electrical Services to join our growing team. This role is responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and serving as the key liaison between clients and our electrical operations team. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of electrical systems and services, along with strong communication and relationship-building skills. Key Responsibilities • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial and industrial clients. • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention. • Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and generate new business within existing accounts. • Collaborate with the estimating and operations teams to develop and present proposals, quotes, and solutions. • Conduct site visits to assess client needs and ensure service delivery expectations are met. • Monitor project progress, address client concerns, and proactively communicate updates. • Track account activity, pipeline, and forecasting using CRM tools. (Hubspot) • Ensure contract terms, renewals, and the scope of services are clearly documented and adhered to. • Partner with marketing and leadership to identify and pursue new target accounts and market segments. • Stay up to date on electrical industry trends, safety requirements, and code compliance. Qualifications • 3+ years of experience in account management, estimating, sales, and/or project coordination in the electrical or related construction/service industry. • Working knowledge of commercial electrical systems, services, and terminology. • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. • Strong organizational and time management abilities. • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks effectively. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred but not required. • Journeyman or Master Electrician license (a plus, not required).
