Dykema Gossett, PLLC, a leading national law firm, is recruiting for a Technology Training Manager. This position is fully remote within one of Dykema’s office locations. The Technology Training Manager works with department leadership to drive the firm’s technology learning and adoption strategy, aligning training initiatives with firm priorities and ensuring attorneys and administrative professionals can effectively use the firm’s applications and systems. This position manages a team responsible for the design, delivery, and ongoing improvement of onboarding programs, eLearning modules, live training sessions, and quick-reference materials. In addition to overseeing enterprise training programs, the Technology Training Manager serves as the firm’s leader for technology adoption initiatives. This role directly manages trainers, maintains the Learning Management System (LMS), and ensures training aligns with support trends, user feedback, and business needs. Responsibilities include analyzing recurring support issues, improving training content and delivery, supporting technology rollouts, and partnering with Office Administrators and leadership to maximize user proficiency and adoption. The Technology Training Manager partners with IT Support, Applications, and firm leadership to prioritize user experience, enhance technology adoption, and deliver a consistent, efficient, and effective technology learning environment for attorneys and administrative professionals. Responsibilities Team Leadership & Training Delivery • Lead and manage a team of Technology Trainers delivering new-hire onboarding and ongoing training programs. • Oversee all training content, including quick reference guides, eLearning modules, videos, and live/virtual sessions. • Ensure training programs are role-based, up-to-date, and aligned with business and technology priorities. • Conduct training if needed and as necessary. Learning Management & Adoption • Administer and maintain the firm’s Learning Management System (LMS). • Design and maintain learning paths for attorneys and administrative professionals users. • Introduce modern learning solutions, including microlearning, self-service, and AI-assisted tools. • Track and report on training completion, engagement, and adoption metrics. Feedback & Continuous Improvement • Gather feedback from end-users, support teams, and trainers after training sessions. • Analyze feedback, LMS metrics, and support trends to identify areas for improvement. • Adjust training content, delivery methods, and learning paths based on actionable insights. • Partner with leadership to ensure feedback results in measurable improvements in adoption and performance. Data-Driven Support Alignment • Collaborate with Service Desk and IT leadership to review support trends and recurring issues. • Translate support gaps and end-user challenges into targeted learning initiatives. • Ensure training and support efforts work together to reduce repeat tickets and improve user proficiency. Technology & Change Management • Support technology rollouts and change management initiatives with training plans and communications. • Evaluate emerging learning technologies and AI tools to enhance adoption and efficiency. • Keep training materials and methods aligned with new technologies and evolving business needs. Skills And Qualifications • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), eLearning tools, and digital learning content creation. • Ability to analyze support trends and end-user feedback to design targeted training programs. • Experience with technology adoption, change management initiatives, and user communications. • Strong understanding of enterprise technologies such as Microsoft 365, document management systems, collaboration tools, or legal applications. • Knowledge of emerging learning technologies, AI-assisted tools, and modern adoption strategies. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to engage attorneys and administrative professionals across all levels. • Strong leadership and team management skills, including mentoring and coaching. • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Education And Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Instructional Design, Education, Business, or a related field is preferred. • Five plus years of experience in IT training, technology enablement, or related fields, with progressive responsibility. • Proven experience managing a team of trainers, instructional designers, or learning specialists. • Experience in a legal or professional services environment is strongly preferred. Working Conditions • Travel into a Dykema office as needed. • The Information Technology field requires that some of the job responsibilities be completed during non-business hours. In accordance with industry standards, Information Systems professionals should be flexible with availability when work must be done during non-business hours. The expected compensation ranges for this position in various states and jurisdictions are as follows: Chicago: $95,000 - $100,000 Los Angeles: $95,000 - $100,000 Michigan Offices: $90,000 - $100,000 Milwaukee: $90,000 - $100,000 Minneapolis: $95,000 - $100,000 Dallas & Houston: $95,000 - $100,000 San Antonio - $90,000 - $100,000 Washington, D.C.: $95,000 - $100,000 The offered salary will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, work location, individual skill set, previous/applicable experience, education, external market data and consideration of internal equity.
