MAIN TASKS • Frequently contacts customers to maintain positive business relationships. Ensures customers are satisfied with products, quality and service and identifies opportunities to increase sales and profits. • Acts as an interface between the company and customers. Responsible for prompt fulfillment of deliveries, receiving technical data, determining transaction status, providing support services, resolving post-delivery issues, etc. Ensures that customer requirements are met through flawless performance and establishes a foundation for future mutually satisfactory business relationships. • Identifies business opportunities and establishes new contacts that could lead to potential sales. • Assists in setting prices, achieving economic benefits and profits through negotiations. • Provides feedback on market prices for company products. • Participates in the preparation and updating of sales forecasts, program presentations and projects by monitoring and analyzing product consumption and preparing accurate sales estimates. • Facilitates management decisions by communicating current information regarding customer activity, market trends and market conditions to appropriate managers and staff. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS • Monitors and analyzes sales, marketing methods and competitors' actions and makes recommendations to improve market presence and increase sales volume. • Participates as sales/customer representative in cross-functional team program meetings. • Analyzes product consumption and prepares accurate sales estimates. • Participates in the preparation of sales forecasts, program presentations and projects. • Performs other assigned duties as appropriate. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/qualification. MBA preferred • >5 years experience in similar position ADDITIONAL PROVEN EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • English fluent; other languages are a plus. • Experience in the automotive industry • Experience with OEM supplier portals • Willingness to travel
