Job Description: Position Title: Product Manager, Market Intelligence Position Summary DTN provides market intelligence solutions that professionals rely on to make high-stakes decisions in volatile, data-dense markets. We’re seeking a Product Manager to lead discovery and product strategy for established Market Intelligence SaaS platforms, with a focus on deep customer understanding, outcome-driven delivery, and sustained product differentiation. This role is for a product manager who is deeply customer-driven, analytically rigorous, and motivated by solving complex problems in close partnership with engineering and design. You will own meaningful products outcomes end-to-end, from identifying unmet customer needs to delivering measurable business impact. What You Will be Responsible For: Customer Discovery & Problem Understanding Conduct continuous discovery through weekly customer interviews, workflow observation, and feedback loops Develop deep empathy for traders’ and analysts’ decision-making processes, constraints, and risk profiles Synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into clear problem statements and opportunity hypotheses Rapidly test assumptions and validate solutions before committing engineering effort Product Strategy & Prioritization Define and evolve product strategy aligned to customer value, business goals, and technical realities Make clear, evidence-based prioritization decisions using structured frameworks and economic thinking Develop concise business cases that articulate customer impact, market opportunity, and ROI Identify growth and differentiation opportunities through market analysis, competitive research, and customer insights Product Delivery & Team Leadership Partner closely with engineering and design to explore multiple solution paths and trade-offs Frame problems and success criteria clearly, enabling teams to autonomously discover the best solutions Maintain a strong balance between discovery and delivery while participating in agile rituals Provide context and clarity so teams can make high-quality decisions without excessive oversight Measurement & Learning Define and track success metrics and OKRs tied to customer and business outcomes Analyze product performance and continuously iterate based on data and feedback Explore and apply AI/ML capabilities where they meaningfully improve insight, speed, or decision quality What You Will Bring to the Position: Product Experience: 3+ years of Product Management experience with B2B SaaS environments Strong business acumen, including understanding of product economics and trade-offs Customer-First Mindset: Demonstrated strength in product discovery, customer research, and insight synthesis with ability to clearly explain the “why” and behind decisions Deep customer empathy and bias toward direct customer engagement Technical Acumen: Basic understanding of financial concepts and product economics Experience with product management tools (Jira, Confluence) Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven experience partnering closely with engineering, design, and commercial teams Execution & Prioritization: Ability to operate effectively in complex, ambiguous domains Additional Preferred Qualifications: Experience in financial markets, trading platforms, market intelligence, or analytics tools Familiarity with continuous discovery, lean product development, and outcome-based planning Exposure to data platforms, APIs, real-time systems, or data visualizations Knowledge of agriculture, commodities, or energy markets What You Can Expect from DTN: Competitive Salary Unlimited PTO Flexible working hours Remote work model (position dependent) Competitive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Plans 6% 401K matching Unlimited access to 13k+ courses via learning platform to support employee career advancement Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Compensation The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $127,500 and 191,000. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
