Full Description

dsm-firmenich is a global company that offers summer internships for students to gain professional experience. The Sustainability Engineer Intern will work on real business projects related to asset management and building systems optimization, while enhancing their skills and network within the organization. Responsibilities • Asset Management – Collection and documentation of building and lab units supported by the GREW team • Building Systems Utilization Optimization – focusing on air compressors and energy costs/savings • Attend sustainability network meetings and follow up on action items • Day to day interaction with GREW team and colleagues Skills • Currently working on completion of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field • Must be available to work full-time on-site beginning on June 1, 2026 to August 14, 2026 • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow • Sustainable thinking, ability to bring cost-effective ideas • Enthusiasm to learn in a dynamic setting Company Overview • dsm-firmenich is a nutrition, health, and beauty pioneer and combines vital nutrients, flavors, and fragrances.
