Regulatory & Quality Compliance Manager Location: Remote (Company Based in Redding, CA) Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST Reports to: Chief Operating Officer About the Company A leading consumer goods retail company is transforming home wellness through innovative, plant-powered solutions. Position Overview The Regulatory & Quality Compliance Manager ensures full compliance with FIFRA and all international, federal, state, and local pesticide regulations. This strategic role also oversees the company's Quality Management System (QMS), manages agency submissions, and serves as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities. The role collaborates cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to drive compliance and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance • Ensure full compliance with FIFRA, including product registration, labeling, and reporting • Monitor and respond to changes in legislation and regulatory requirements • Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies • Review and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) • Ensure marketing claims and partner platforms (e.g., Amazon, Walmart.com) meet compliance standards • Advocate for labeling updates and negotiate with state agencies when needed Quality Management • Oversee QMS implementation, SOPs, and quality policies • Conduct audits, inspections, and root cause analyses • Lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and track performance metrics • Manage Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and coordinate third-party testing Team Leadership & Collaboration • Mentor and manage compliance and quality team members • Foster a culture of regulatory excellence and safety • Collaborate across departments to align on compliance and quality goals Documentation & Submissions • Prepare and submit registration applications and amendments • Maintain organized digital records for audits and inspections • Develop tracking systems for regulatory and quality data Internal Guidance • Maintain government safety standards and label compliance • Provide regulatory guidance to product, operations, and marketing teams
