Job Title: APS Solution Architect (o9 / Anaplan / SAP IBP) Location: Remote with 50% Travel to Project Locations Position Type: Contract Only W2 Role overview: You will lead solution architecture and delivery for Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) / integrated business planning programs, translating supply-chain planning requirements into scalable platform designs and guiding build/configuration teams through implementation. This is an architect-level consulting role (typically 5–7+ years relevant experience) where you’ll own blueprinting, integration strategy, and executive-ready solution narratives. Engagement & work model: • Engagement type: Contract. • Travel: Typically 30–50% depending on project phase and stakeholder cadence. • Locations: Remote within United States with 30-50% travel. Target platforms (one or more): • o9 Solutions (planning, IBP, analytics, MEIO depending on project) • Anaplan (multidimensional supply-chain planning models) • SAP IBP (demand, supply & response, inventory, S&OP/IBP orchestration, control tower; integration with SAP landscapes) Key responsibilities: • Lead solution design and architecture for planning processes (demand planning, supply planning, production planning/scheduling, inventory optimization, S&OP/IBP). • Run blueprinting/requirements workshops, publish design decisions, and build phased roadmaps that stakeholders can execute. • Define data and integration architecture between APS tools and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle ERPs and upstream/downstream planning/execution apps). • Guide configuration/build teams across the lifecycle (design → build/config → test → cutover), ensuring performance, scalability, and operability. • Produce strong architecture documentation, support solutioning (as needed), and present outcomes to senior client stakeholders. Required qualifications: • U.S. citizenship (required for many client environments). • 5–7+ years in supply chain planning architecture/implementation (APS/IBP programs). • Deep functional knowledge in at least two areas: demand planning, supply planning, PP/DS or production scheduling, inventory optimization/MEIO, S&OP/IBP orchestration. • Platform depth in at least one: o9, Anaplan, or SAP IBP (architect/lead level). • Strong integration understanding (source-to-target mapping, master data design, ETL/ELT patterns, planning data quality, integration monitoring). • Consulting skills: stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, crisp written artifacts, and “tell the story” communication. Preferred qualifications (platform-specific examples): • o9: ability to map business requirements into o9 models/workflows and define integrations to enterprise systems like SAP/Oracle. • SAP IBP: end-to-end design across IBP modules plus integration patterns into SAP landscapes and external platforms. • Anaplan: translating spreadsheets and business planning problems into multidimensional Anaplan supply chain applications.
