Quality Assurance Manager Location: Grand Prairie, TX Reports to: Director of Quality About the Company Our client is a trusted contract manufacturer specializing in custom control panels and wire harness assemblies, proudly serving OEMs, supply chain professionals, and quality-driven partners across multiple industries. With a strong reputation for precision, compliance, and exceptional service, the company is committed to continuous improvement and delivering manufacturing solutions that exceed the highest industry standards. The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to take ownership of a full quality management system in a hands-on, leadership-driven role. The position blends strategy with daily execution—overseeing inspection, testing, auditing, and process improvement initiatives that directly impact customer satisfaction and operational excellence. If you’re passionate about quality, compliance, and building strong partnerships across production, engineering, and supply chain teams, this role gives you a seat at the table to shape the company’s quality culture. What You’ll Do • Lead, maintain, and continuously improve the company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System. • Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and documentation. • Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections/testing for control panels, wire harnesses, and assemblies. • Ensure compliance with UL, IPC, and customer-specific requirements. • Lead internal audits, support external/third-party audits, and manage corrective/preventive actions. • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of issues and drive solutions. • Manage quality metrics, reporting, and KPIs for leadership review. • Provide training programs to strengthen quality awareness across the team. • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues, certifications, and audits. What You Bring Required: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience). • 5+ years of quality assurance/quality management experience in manufacturing. • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 systems and internal auditing. • Familiarity with UL508A, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and/or other standards. • Proven experience leading root cause analysis and corrective action programs. • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Preferred: • Prior experience in control panel manufacturing or wire harness assembly. • Certifications such as CQE, CQA, or similar. • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
