Lead Product Designer Mission: Own the end-to-end user experience for all Drivepoint products Location: Remote or Hybrid (Boston/NYC) | Full-Time Team: Product Compensation: Competitive, based on experience About Drivepoint Drivepoint is a fast-growing B2B AI & SaaS company that provides financial modeling and forecasting solutions for eCommerce and omnichannel brands. Our platform is the financial system of record for consumer brands looking to unlock profitable growth, improve capital access, and strengthen valuations. We’re on a mission to help retail leaders achieve better outcomes, with a goal of powering 25% of global retail GMV by 2030. Built by seasoned strategic finance experts, Drivepoint is designed for clarity, speed, and insight, not complexity. Leading eCommerce founders and CEOs use Drivepoint to analyze business performance, model future scenarios, and make critical decisions. With strong customer feedback, inbound momentum, and fresh Series A funding ($7M, July 2025), we’re scaling rapidly. The Role We’re looking for a Lead Product Designer to own the end-to-end user experience for all Drivepoint products. Drivepoint equips CFOs and finance teams at high-growth CPG brands with powerful FP&A tools—but our experience must match that power. To get there, we need a designer who not only understands financial workflows but can also own the design roadmap: setting priorities, solving pain points, and guiding us toward a self-serve, seamless product. This isn’t just about beautiful screens. It’s about bridging customer needs and product functionality, transforming complexity into clarity, and doing it with a deep empathy for finance users—because you’ve designed for CFOs and finance teams before. What You’ll Do Own the end-to-end User Experience and design roadmap for all Drivepoint products: Define priorities, balance quick wins with long-term improvements, and phase changes that deliver compounding value. Understand our users: Engage directly with CFOs, analysts, and operators to translate finance workflows (forecasting, reporting, cash planning, scenario modeling) into intuitive product flows. Design & deliver: Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished designs in Figma; partner with engineering to bring them to life in React/TypeScript. Simplify complexity: Turn intricate financial processes into flows that feel effortless—where the next step is always obvious. Establish principles & systems: Build and maintain a scalable design system with clear tokens, components, and usage guidelines. Measure & iterate: Use analytics, user feedback, and usability testing to define success, evaluate adoption, and refine. Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with product, engineering, and customer success to ensure design decisions serve both business and user needs. What Success Looks Like & How We’ll Measure Your Impact Success in this role means creating a clear, customer-informed design roadmap that reflects finance team priorities and reduces friction across the product. You’ll deliver measurable improvements such as fewer support tickets, faster onboarding, higher task success, and smoother workflows. A consistent, documented design system will accelerate both design and development, and CFOs and analysts should describe Drivepoint as “seamless”—intuitive, clear, and easy to use. Your impact will be reflected in: Reduced analyst time spent walking customers through product basics Increased onboarding completion and activation rates Higher task success and lower drop-off in key workflows Positive user feedback highlighting clarity, ease, and intuitiveness What We’re Looking For 5–10+ years of product design experience, with end-to-end ownership of B2B SaaS products. Previous experience designing for CPG CFOs or finance teams (FP&A context is critical). A portfolio that shows how you’ve simplified complex workflows into elegant, intuitive experiences. Strength in user research, interaction design, IA, and microcopy. A product ownership mindset: prioritization, roadmapping, and alignment. Familiarity with front-end technologies (React/TypeScript) a plus. Why Join Drivepoint Own the design function at a high-growth, product-driven company Set the north star for usability and build scalable systems and principles Work directly with founders and executives at high-growth consumer brands Be part of a mission-driven team building a category-defining product Remote-friendly, collaborative culture with room to grow Competitive salary, benefits, and meaningful equity opportunity Compensation Competitive, based on experience.
