We are seeking an experienced salesperson with a successful track record in the plastics sector, capable of expanding national accounts, developing new relationships, and driving strategic growth within injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, compounding, and other plastics manufacturing environments. Summary This national role is responsible for cultivating, managing, and expanding customer relationships across the plastics manufacturing industry nationwide, with emphasis on selling motor repair, motor replacement, and reliability solutions that keep production lines running. This includes working with multi-site plastics manufacturers, OEMs, and high-volume plastics processors across the U.S. Essential Functions • Develops and expands national relationships with key plastics manufacturers, including injection molders, extrusion plants, thermoformers, compounding facilities, and plastics recyclers. • Builds and manages a growing national account portfolio with a focus on multi-location plastics processors. • Grows sales revenue by identifying new national opportunities, generating leads, cold calling, and developing long-term customer partnerships. • Provides technical and consultative support on electric motor repair, motor management programs, and reliability solutions specific to plastics processing equipment. • Prepares and delivers high-impact presentations, proposals, and ROI-driven solutions tailored to plastics manufacturing environments. • Coordinates with internal engineering, repair, and operations teams to ensure timely service, delivery, and customer satisfaction. • Represents the company at plastics industry trade shows, national conferences, and association meetings. • Monitors market trends within the plastics sector, including equipment modernization, energy efficiency initiatives, and maintenance reliability practices. • Responds promptly to customer inquiries, resolves issues, and maintains strong long-term relationships with decision-makers and plant personnel. • Accurately tracks national customer interactions, proposals, and performance data within the CRM system. • Provides feedback to leadership on product/service development based on plastics industry needs. • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
