Country-specific (EMEA, Asia, or China) Freelance / Project-based April–May 2026 (HCP/Payer phase) and/or September–October 2026 (Patient phase) Project Overview We are conducting multi-country qualitative market research to support the global launch of a new prescription treatment for acquired ptosis. The research involves validating healthcare professional (HCP), payer, and patient insights across selected markets. We are seeking experienced freelance researchers who can independently manage recruitment, scheduling, interviewing, data capture, and honorarium distribution in their respective countries. Scope of Work Participant Recruitment • Recruit HCPs (ophthalmologists, oculoplastic surgeons, payers) and/or patients aged 35–60, depending on the assigned workstream. • Validate eligibility according to provided screening criteria. • Confirm participation, schedule sessions, and manage rescheduling as needed. • Provide weekly recruitment status updates. Interview Execution (Face-to-Face + Hybrid) • Conduct 1:1 interviews or dyads using the discussion guide supplied by the global research team. • Sessions may be held in-person, via video call, or hybrid formats. • Ensure accurate, unbiased moderation and adherence to research protocols. • Record sessions (with consent) and ensure high-quality audio. Fieldwork Administration • Secure a suitable venue for face-to-face interviews (clinic, office, research facility, or neutral meeting room). • Coordinate logistics for hybrid sessions (connectivity, platform setup, backup options). • Ensure compliance with local ethical, medical, and privacy regulations. Data Collation & Tabulation • Deliver structured interview notes and collated insights according to the study template. • Translate raw data into English (if required). • Tabulate key findings (trends, quotes, themes) aligned with persona or messaging hypotheses. • Provide clean, organized output suitable for integration into global reporting. Incentive & Honorarium Management • Secure participant honorarium payments in accordance with country norms (cash, bank transfer, e-wallet). • Keep transparent logs of incentive disbursement. • Ensure legal compliance with local taxation and reporting requirements. Required QualificationsExperience • Minimum 3 years in qualitative market research, preferably in healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals. • Demonstrated experience conducting HCP or patient interviews, either as a moderator or field researcher. • Proven capability in participant recruitment, including hard-to-reach specialties (e.g., ophthalmologists). • Experience managing incentives and cross-checking respondent legitimacy. Skills • Strong interviewing and moderation skills (in-person and virtual). • Ability to synthesize insights and structure findings clearly. • Fluent in local language; strong English reading/writing skills preferred. • Excellent organization and communication skills. • Ability to work independently while coordinating with an international team. Tools & Technical Requirements • Reliable smartphone, laptop, and high-speed internet. • Familiarity with video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams). • Ability to record, store, and transfer files securely.
