$100K - 140K a year
You will manage sales KPI reporting and systems, improve data accuracy and operational processes, and translate business needs into technical requirements.
The role requires at least three years in sales or revenue operations or a sales-facing analyst position, plus dashboarding, data validation, and business requirements experience.
Sales Operations & Systems Manager Reports to: Head of Sales Strategy & Operations Location: Remote, or Louisville, KY Type: Full-time, Exempt About us We're on a mission to modernize annuities by bringing disruptively priced products and easy-to-use technology to market. DPL Financial Partners was founded to remove the problems created by commissions-complex and expensive products, conflicted sales practices, eroded benefits-and put the power in the hands of fiduciaries and retirement investors. Position overview You'll own the sales team's regular reporting and help our sales systems keep improving. You'll build and maintain the dashboards and reports that sales consultants and leaders use every day, turn what the sales team needs into clear requirements, test what gets delivered, and prove with data that it is working. This is a new role built to help the sales organization operate at scale. This is not a ticket-taker role. The right person spots operational bottlenecks, defines the fix, makes sure it gets built well, and measures whether it worked. Who you are You're curious and enjoy learning new tools, systems, and parts of the business. You find creative solutions to messy problems, and you can point to something you built or improved that didn't exist before. You adapt well to change. We're a growing company, and priorities and tools evolve; you see that as an opportunity. You like building things and keeping them accurate. Much of our sales reporting still needs to be built or restructured, and you'll own its ongoing maintenance and accuracy. You communicate clearly and often, and you're confident pushing back with data. We're a relatively small company where every team is growing, so coordination across Sales, Marketing, Analytics, IT, and Training is part of the job. How we'll work together You'll work closely with the Head of Sales Strategy & Operations, who will invest in your growth: helping you learn the business, giving guidance, and shaping projects around skills you want to build. You'll get a clear goal and a minimum standard. We expect you to make it your own, improve on it, or challenge it. How you get there is up to you; the quality of the result is what matters. You'll work on many kinds of projects, including reporting, process design, systems, and cross-team launches. As work becomes steady, you'll move on to new growth projects. You'll start by working through decisions together and take on more ownership as you learn the business, including system configuration, how solutions are implemented, and solving problems before anyone raises them. As the team grows, there may be opportunities to focus the role on the areas where you excel. What you'll own Sales KPI reporting Own the sales team's regular KPI reporting: define what sales should track, then build and maintain the dashboards and reports sales consultants and leaders use for daily activity, pipeline, and productivity. Build reporting in Salesforce, Snowflake, and with our in-house AI agents. Partner with Analytics as they build new reporting when the business changes and take over ongoing maintenance once a report becomes part of regular sales reporting. Validate sales data and reconcile it across Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, and our reporting tools. Own the weekly third-party market intelligence data feed into Snowflake: confirm each load ran correctly and work with IT and the data provider to resolve issues. Prepare and validate the sales team's contributions to leadership reporting, such as territory opportunity sizing, lead management, and activity reporting, and partner with FP&A on reporting consistency. Sales systems Make ongoing improvements to Salesforce: gather sales team needs, write requirements and user stories, and help set priorities. Provide requirements to our Salesforce consulting partner and test the work they deliver. Maintain Salesforce process rules and data integrity across the pipeline. Serve as Gong administrator, with support from the Head of Sales Strategy & Operations. Partner with Marketing on Salesloft processes. Troubleshoot platform issues and coordinate vendor support. Evaluate and recommend new tools that improve seller efficiency. Process design and improvement Turn the sales vision into processes and procedures, backed by reporting that shows leadership whether processes are working and whether sales team members are focused on the result drivers. Identify operational bottlenecks and define automations that reduce manual work for sales team members and advisors. Recommend process changes, with the data to support them. Launch readiness For each launch or initiative, define what the sales team needs: action lists or Salesloft cadences, contact criteria, and reporting. Report afterward on how it worked, providing a feedback loop to Sales, Marketing, Training, and IT and identifying future improvements. Documentation and adoption Keep processes, decisions, and process guides in a central location so every team can see what was decided and why. Partner with Training on system adoption and best practices. What this role does not own This role defines what the sales team needs from systems and reporting; it does not run training, coordinate launches across teams, or direct our Salesforce consulting partner. It also does not validate sales numbers or materials prepared by Finance or the Office of the CEO. What success looks like in year one By the end of your first year, we expect the sales team to trust its numbers and our systems to be improving steadily. Your first six months focus on trusted data and reporting; after that, the focus shifts to ongoing process improvement. The sales team's regular KPI reporting for daily activity, pipeline, and productivity is built, maintained, and used by consultants and leaders. The weekly market intelligence feed into Snowflake is monitored, with load issues caught and resolved. Sales data reconciles across Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, and our reporting tools, with discrepancies traced to their source. Salesforce improvements move through clear requirements and are tested before release. Processes and decisions are documented in one central location. You make decisions on CRM configuration and how solutions are implemented, keeping the Head of Sales Strategy & Operations updated. What we're looking for Required 3+ years in sales operations, revenue operations, sales systems, or a sales-facing analyst role. Understanding of how sales teams work, gained in a sales, sales operations, sales enablement, or sales analytics role, or equivalent experience. Experience building and maintaining dashboards and reports and tracing a number back to its source. Experience writing business requirements and testing what was built against them. Experience validating data across systems and resolving discrepancies. Ability to work independently: you set priorities within clear goals and see work through without close direction. Preferred Salesforce experience (admin certification is a plus). Snowflake or SQL experience. Experience defining metrics and data definitions, or the ability to learn them quickly. Gong administration experience; experience with Salesloft or HubSpot. Experience using AI tools or agents for reporting or analysis. Experience working with an outside consulting partner or supporting a CRM migration. Financial services, wealth management, insurance, or fintech experience. Experience supporting advisor-facing or B2B distribution sales teams. Coding skills.
