Carpenter – General Carpentry, Demolition & Site Cleanup Description: The Carpenter is responsible for performing all phases of carpentry work on residential and commercial projects. This includes framing, trim installation, doors, windows, hardware, and repairs. In addition, this role includes light and heavy demolition, material handling, and maintaining a clean, safe job site. The Carpenter is expected to work efficiently, follow plans and instructions, and support the project team as needed. Responsibilities: • Perform all general carpentry tasks including framing, blocking, sheathing, installation of doors, windows, and interior/exterior trim. • Complete selective demolition work safely and efficiently (walls, ceilings, fixtures, flooring, etc.). • Handle rough and finish carpentry repairs as required. • Read and interpret drawings, sketches, and instructions. • Measure, cut, and install materials accurately. • Assist with material loading, unloading, and site organization. • Maintain daily jobsite cleanliness including debris removal, sweeping, and proper disposal. • Ensure all work meets quality standards and follows safety requirements. • Operate power tools, hand tools, and equipment safely. • Coordinate with the site supervisor and other trades as needed. Qualifications: • Experience in general carpentry and demolition preferred. • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs, work on ladders, and perform physical labor. • Basic knowledge of jobsite safety procedures. • Dependable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
