At that time, the role will become directly aligned to the Diamond Infrastructure Solutions Company. About you and this role As a Maintenance Group Leader you will lead the Diamond Infra maintenance team supporting Energy, Environmental Operations, Chemical Logistics and Infrastructure assets located in Seadrift, TX. The Maintenance Group Leader has accountability to drive maintenance productivity. They serve as the maintenance process and discipline owner and administrative resource leader and has responsibility for safety, reliability and cost management. The Maintenance Group Leader ensures effective work process utilization, enhancement of the process/operating discipline, that the skills necessary to support the work process are defined, and tracks analyzes work process results. They lead one or more teams of professional individual contributors which may also include technical operations, business operations, or operational support employees. As a leader, fosters a work environment with a high level of integrity and strong customer and safety focus that embraces inclusion and diversity, innovation and sustainability, continuous improvement and empowerment. Responsibilities Serves as the people leader for maintenance team and assures proper staffing levels. Owns performance management process for the team. Oversees functional/administrative goals and for establishing the budget that is consistent with the business needs. Drives maintenance productivity initiatives to achieve maintenance excellence relating quality, cost, time. Engages with Maintenance Expertise Center and global/regional experts to ensure best practices are implemented and developed for global use. Ensures global best practices are fully implemented and utilized. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience at or above the U.S. E5 level or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class/Sergeant, and at least 5 years of related experience; OR a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain a TWIC card. Ability to work comfortably and safely at elevated heights. Candidates must be familiar with, or willing to undergo training in, the proper usage and maintenance of safety equipment to ensure safe movement and operations at heights. A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Maintenance or Construction. SAP & GMISS proficiency. Previous leadership experience is preferred. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to implement change effectively within an organization is preferred. Plant Safety: Plant safety primarily aims to prevent accidents at facilities where hazardous substances are used – and in the event of an accident, its goal is to minimize the consequent health and environmental effects.
