Full Description

Cash Analyst I  Full time; Non-Exempt; 40 hours/week; overtime as required.  Location; Remote, US Department: Research   Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc. (“Dovenmuehle”) is the leading mortgage subservicing firm in the United States with several hundred financial institution clients nationwide.   General Description:  The individual is responsible for the accurate and timely research and reconciliation of complex cashiering issues.  Assist with questions and testing for new client acquisitions. Able to resolve outstanding issues through completion of project-oriented tasks. Audit loans data for accuracy. Respond to inquiries from other departments, clients, and auditors relating to Cashiering applications and functions. Reports to Supervisor.   Essential Functions and Duties: ·         Complete project-oriented tasks that resolve outstanding Cashiering issues. ·         Research and respond to inquiries from other departments. ·         Research and respond to inquiries from clients relating to Cashiering applications and functions. ·         Research and respond to inquiries from auditors relating to Cashiering applications and functions. ·         Research and respond to priority and escalation issues/tasks from Cash Research and Customer Service.  ·         Research and respond to audit requests through use of passport inquires and resulting reports. ·         Backup payment processing or other cashiering functions as needed. ·         Represent Cashiering within the organization and serve as a resource to other departments regarding cash application questions. ·         Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the organization’s processes and procedures. ·         Successfully complete annual regulatory compliance training. ·         Additional duties as assigned.   Required Qualifications:    ·         High school diploma or equivalent.  ·         5+ years Mortgage Servicing, Processing or Underwriting experience. ·         Proficient with Microsoft applications, database analysis, and query software. ·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail. ·         Ability to handle complex, multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. ·         Effective verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact in a positive and professional manner at all times with all levels of both internal and external audiences, including the ability to explain complex matters in a clear and concise manner.    Preferred/Other Qualifications:  * Working knowledge of all aspects of mortgage servicing processes and applicable regulations. * Experience with MSP. * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.   Benefits ·         Medical, Dental, Vision, Wellness, Flexible Spending Account, and Employee Assistance Program and more. ·         Employer paid Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability.  ·         401 (K) Plan with company match ·         Paid Vacation, Sick, Personal and Holidays   Physical Demands and Work Environment: The employee must be comfortable in either an on-site office setting, or a quiet, designated work from home space that is free from distractions and noise. The employee may be required to frequently operate a standard variety of office equipment including computers, calculators, copy machine, computer printer and phones.
